An introduction
I’m really glad you’re here.
This space is a reflection of how I move through the world — curious, rooted, learning as I go. It’s not a finished offering or a perfected version of myself, but a living one. A place where mind, body, and soul are allowed to speak to one another.
At my core, I’m someone who believes that loving ourselves is not a destination, but a practice. One we return to through creating, noticing, remembering, and gently choosing again. I believe that when we learn to tend to our inner world with care, that love naturally extends outward — into our families, our communities, and the ways we show up for one another.
I carry many roles. I am a wife and a mother, learning daily what it means to grow alongside the people I love. I am a social worker, trauma therapist, and parent coach, shaped by years of witnessing both pain and resilience, and by a deep respect for the nervous system, the body’s wisdom, and the slow work of healing. These titles inform me, but they do not contain me.
I am also a creator, a learner, a collector of small moments. I’m drawn to nature, to handmade things, to poetry and art, to moon cycles and seasonal rhythms. I find meaning in travel, in home, in homeschooling, in herbal remedies, in crafts and quiet rituals, and in the ordinary beauty of everyday life. Much of what you’ll find here comes from what I’m living, learning, unlearning, and loving in real time.
Rooted & Revolutionary was born from the desire to live with intention while remaining open to change — to stay grounded while allowing myself to evolve. It’s about honoring where we come from while choosing how we want to grow. About softness and strength existing side by side.
This space isn’t about having answers. It’s about asking better questions, listening more closely, and creating a life that feels aligned from the inside out.
However you found your way here, you’re welcome to linger. To take what resonates. To leave what doesn’t. To return as you are.
Welcome in.
💛 Katherine
